Our group meets on the 4th Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the Carrollwood Cultural Center, 4537 Lowell Road, in Tampa, Florida (see map below). We undertake a wide variety of books, both fiction and non-fiction, male and female authors, selections old and new. We determine our book selections by a democratic process in which members propose and then vote on books of their choosing for addition to the Reading List each year.

We got our start in June of 2007, with only a small handful of interested readers. Since then, we've grown to a group of (typically) 10 to 12 attendees each month, and a mailing list of over 60 people.

At the meetings we usually have a volunteer discussion leader; however, everyone is free to join in, and our members are not shy in expressing their thoughts (which we like). Each meeting usually lasts about an hour-and-a-half, give or take. We agreed, early on, that it was OK to show up even if we hadn't quite finished that month's book.

The CCC Book Club is friendly, informal, and open to all. We welcome you to join us.
